Religion & Spirituality

A big part of my life concerns the activities I'm involved with at church. I'm a rather involved Catholic whose opinions are getting stronger with the years. I'm a cradle Catholic, meaning I was baptized as a baby and grew up in the faith. When I was about 17 I was challenged to really study what it means to be a Catholic, and from there my spiritual journey really took off.

Conforming to
the will of God
is not some slippery search
for an elusive mission;
it is as easy
as breathing with love.
—Nancy F. Summers
"When war, as in these days in Iraq, threatens the fate of humanity, it is ever more urgent to proclaim, with a strong and decisive voice, that only peace is the road to follow to construct a more just and united society. ... Violence and arms can never resolve the problems of man."
— Pope John Paul II
Looking for a clear voice that says, "No!" to the ongoing war and occupation in Iraq?
